В ряде работ установлена несомненная связь между уровнем систолического (САД), диастолического (ДАД) АД и риском развития острого нарушения мозгового кровообращения (ОНМК)/транзиторных ишемических атак (ТИА) На сегодняшний день получено недостаточно данных об эффективности таких "новых" классов гипотензивных препаратов, как блокаторы ангиотензиновых рецепторов и антагонисты кальция, неизвестна длительность приема препаратов после перенесенного ОНМК у пациентов без АГ. Кроме того, действие разных препаратов из одной группы может быть различным и требует изучения. Целью настоящего исследования было изучение эффективности и безопасности, влияния на показатели мозгового кровотока ингибитора АПФ цилазаприла в качестве монотерапии или в комбинации с другими препаратами у пациентов с АГ, перенесших ОНМК/ТИА.
