В группе ИАПФ выделяют препараты с более сильным кардиопротективным потенциалом [<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="cit7">7</xref>], одним из которых является зофеноприл. Кардиопротективные эффекты зофеноприла были продемонстрированы ранее в ряде экспериментальных исследований. К настоящему времени получены клинические и экспериментальные данные, свидетельствующие о некоторых сосудистых эффектах зофеноприла. Однако, несмотря на интенсивное изучение зофеноприла в последние годы, не выявлено связующее звено между указанными сосудистыми эффектами препарата и клиническими показателями (уровень смертности, частота возникновения ишемических событий и т.д.). Очевидно, что благоприятные сосудистые эффекты зофеноприла главным образом связаны с его влиянием на тонус сосудов, который теоретически может выступать в роли "предиктора" клинического действия данного препарата.
